We need to comfort those who are mourning. We don’t need to feel rejected if they do not accept our offer of comfort at first. Also we should never imagine that we can somehow escape judgment. Our whole duty in life is to fear God and keep his commandments.
Christians must practice self-sacrifice on a daily basis. We need to be concerned with what God thinks about us not what other people will think. We should also be thoughtful and tactful in our efforts to win souls. Husbands need to be generous to their wives and wives need to be considerate of their husbands as well.
God has blessed us immensely so we should always be joyful. We shouldn’t let one person or event ruin our happiness. We need to appreciate our spiritual blessings which are greater than any amount of material wealth. We also need to leave our burdens with the Lord. And we must love even our enemies.

When we find ourselves pressed by enemies on all sides we need to trust in God to deliver us. In the end His followers are always going to win. He can do great things with just a handful of people. And He can use us for bigger and better purposes as we accomplish the tasks He sets before us.
We will have difficulties with people sometimes but we must not let those frustrations fester into hatred. We must not despise anyone because of disagreements over nonessential matters.
Sometimes we need to give up legitimate gain to maintain our influence. We need to be interested in helping other people especially our Christian brethren. We need to remind our children of the great things God has done and we must teach our children to be strong Christians.
We must be careful to keep destructive forces out of our homes. Drug use selfishness disrespect materialism are all threats which threaten to rip our homes apart. We also have to be careful not to be hanged on our own gallows. Sin brings its own death sentence so we need to heed God’s warnings and avoid it.
